Interview with Ptown Resident, Brett Holmes

So many people have things they love about Ptown, just like we do! We reached out to people who live and work around the community to get their thoughts on what they love and where they like to go! Brett Holmes has been visiting Provincetown for years and moved here almost two years ago. See what he loves:

How long have you lived/worked in Ptown?

I have lived and worked full-time in Provincetown since April 1, 2012.

If you had to pick, what is one thing that keeps you coming back?

To choose just one is so difficult, but I’d say living by the water.  I love being out boating or swimming but also just walking down the street seeing the beautiful cape shore.

brett-holmesDescribe your perfect Saturday in Ptown from morning until bedtime.

My perfect Saturday would include brunch, a day on the beach, happy hour and grilling out with friends.

What’s your favorite place to shop in town?

Lands End really intrigues me. As one person in town mentioned, it’s a mini Macy’s. I’ve never been in hardware store similar to it.  You can find almost anything you need, and some things you don’t!

What’s your favorite place to eat in town?

I don’t have a favorite restaurant in town, but have found my favorite hangouts and entrees. The Cod & Lobster Gnocchi at the Pointe, Pork Vindaloo at the Mews and Raw Bar Happy Hour at Victor’s are among my favorites. I trip to Montano’s in Truro is well worth the drive too.

Where can someone see you on a daily basis in town?

My office located at 374 Commercial Street.
