Provincetown celebrated the opening of the newly redeveloped Motta Field with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 27, 2026.

Shaped by months of community input, the park now features athletic fields, a track, skate park, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, outdoor fitness equipment and a community pavilion. The redesign also improved accessibility and created more space for public gatherings and recreation.
