Every summer, legendary performers, RuPaul’s Drag Race favorites, and hometown icons transform the town into one giant cabaret, with shows ranging from Broadway-worthy vocals to laugh-until-you-cry comedy. Here are some of our favorites:

Miss Richfield 1981

No Provincetown trip is complete without seeing Miss Richfield 1981. A true Ptown institution, she’s famous for razor-sharp audience interaction, Midwestern charm, and hilarious observations about everyday life. Just one warning: sit near the front, and you might become part of the show! Her annual summer production at the Post Office Café & Cabaret is a tradition for many returning visitors.

Varla Jean Merman

If you love powerhouse vocals mixed with outrageous comedy, Varla Jean Merman is a must. Equal parts Broadway diva and comedic genius, Varla reinvents her show every summer with new music, fresh jokes, and over-the-top costumes. Her performances at the Crown & Anchor regularly sell out—and for good reason.

Dina Martina

Wonderfully weird, brilliantly unpredictable, and unlike anyone else in drag, Dina Martina has become a Provincetown legend. Expect absurd comedy, unexpected musical numbers, and an evening you’ll be talking about long after vacation ends. Fans return year after year because no two shows ever feel quite the same.

Paige Turner

Known as the “Showbiz Spitfire,” Paige Turner delivers a fast-paced blend of live singing, audience participation, movie parodies, and over-the-top comedy. Her interactive style makes every performance feel unique.

Sutton Lee Seymour

One of Provincetown’s fastest-rising headliners, Sutton Lee Seymour combines Broadway-caliber vocals, quick costume changes, and razor-sharp comedy in Super-Ma’am, a superhero-inspired musical parody at the Art House. It’s campy, clever, and one of the summer’s hottest tickets.
