Whales have returned to Provincetown’s waters, as has the Dolphin Fleet, which carries people of all ages to the deep sea to watch the giant mammals in action.

December means open clamming season (with a permit) in Provincetown. Shellfishermen arrived with rakes and baskets, digging for clams for holiday meals— and possibly gifts.
