What a Week in Truro Actually Feels Like

Monday starts slowly. Coffee on the deck. Maybe the beach, maybe just a good book, and nowhere to be.

By Tuesday, you’ve settled into the rhythm of the Outer Cape — bike rides through the dunes and lobster rolls eaten outside.

Wednesday means a Provincetown night. Cocktailsgallerieslive music, people-watching on Commercial Street… followed by a peaceful drive back to Truro under the stars.

Thursday is for doing less. A beach chair. An afternoon nap. Watching the light change over the marshes.

Friday feels like summer nostalgia in the best way: grilled dinner outside, salty towels hanging to dry, ice cream after sunset.

And by the weekend, you’re already talking about coming back.

Railway to a Unique Ecosystem | Outer Cape Tours

One of the interesting free tours you can take when you stay with us this season! Biologist, educator and writer Dennis Minsky will lead an exploration of the diverse plants and animals on Old Colony Nature Pathway (which the Cape Cod railroad once ran through), Whistle Path Woods, Fox Run and Dwyer Family Woodlands, many of which change with the season. See nature in action while learning about birds, blooming swamp azaleas and the unique Atlantic White Cedar Swamp at Fox Run.
