The Canteen showed its appreciation to those working on the frontline at Outer Cape Health Services in Provincetown during the pandemic with a recent surprise lunch delivery. The restaurant at 225 Commercial has also begun selling groceries. Place an order and Canteen staff cleans, disinfects and delivers to those who want fresh veggies and more.
SKIP in Ptown
During the town’s stay-in-place order, Provincetowners have come together by staying apart while still helping one another. The Soup Kitchen in Provincetown (SKIP), which serves amazing food all winter long, has extended its season to at least April 24 because of COVID-19. Volunteers have been cooking and distributing meals (regular or vegan) in to-go boxes at a drive-thru at the Methodist Church from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Provincetown Dunes
High winds and tides knocked down a dune cliff, creating little mounds of sand and grass on the beach by the Atlantic Ocean at the Cape Cod National Seashore in Provincetown.
The Squealing Pig
Forget the groundhog, the sign that February has arrived in Provincetown is the re-opening of The Squealing Pig, which arguably has the best fish & chips in town.
