Welcome to Provincetown! Do you know the names of the four ladies who greet you at Fisherman’s Wharf? They are Eva Silva, Mary Jason, Bea Cabral and Frances Raymond – part of an art installation titled “They Also Faced The Sea.” A fifth image of Almeda Segura was, unfortunately, destroyed by weather.

You never know who will appear in Provincetown, including these pirates who spent a whole day singing at different spots on Commercial Street.


Esteban Del Valle finishes his mural “Time and the Town” on the west side of Marine Specialties at 235 Commercial St. Funded by the Provincetown Public Art Foundation, locals will recognize tributes to Provincetowners of the past and present.

There are so many amazing art galleries in Provincetown – especially on the East End (easily walkable from our properties!). During the summer, they open for a stroll on Fridays which is a great time to check out new works, have a glass of wine, and meet new friends. Here are a couple of our favorites, what are yours?!
