Ptown is a summer favorite for many – especially east coasters looking for an easy, quick jaunt. Carnival sees crowds of over 100,000 people which can be chaotic but certainly a lot of fun. As someone who works with businesses in Ptown, I have had the opportunity to visit throughout the entire year and can honestly say October is one of my favorite months in town.

Why?

Visiting off season really gives you a chance to realize how special a place Ptown really is – without the clusters of people. You can actually get into that restaurant you wanted to try or take the time in that art gallery. You can stroll the beach and grab a cocktail and just sit and chat with friends or reflect on the beauty of your surroundings. With the crisp fall air, you can take a leisurely bike ride without sweating all over the place.

A favorite of MANY guests – and the most commented place was our neighbor, Fanizzi’s! We love the close walk and any meal there – breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Another loved, and one of the top rated restaurants in Ptown, was The Mews! They have a fantastic list of vodkas for your favorite martini as well as one of the best burgers around!

The Red Inn was another favorite – with their great raw bar happy hour every day!
