Highland Lighthouse/Cape Cod Lighthouse

The Highland Lighthouse (also known as Cape Cod Lighthouse) is one of the most famous on Cape Cod – and even included in Cape Cod by Henry David Thoreau in 1865:

“THIS LIGHT-HOUSE, known to mariners as the Cape Cod or Highland Light,
is one of our “primary sea-coast lights,” and is usually the first seen by
those approaching the entrance of Massachusetts Bay from Europe.”

Provincetown East End Art Galleries

There are so many amazing art galleries in Provincetown – especially on the East End (easily walkable from our properties!). During the summer, they open for a stroll on Fridays which is a great time to check out new works, have a glass of wine, and meet new friends. Here are a couple of our favorites, what are yours?!

Atlantic House Provincetown

The Atlantic House in Provincetown is one of the most historic buildings in town. It has been in continual operation for over two centuries and is a contender for the oldest gay bar in the world! Known by locals as simply “A-house,” it is a great stop for a drink and to see the Provincetown world pass you by.
